We have attended many shows, with three to five bands
on the bill. Most often, you have no idea who is about to go on stage
until they are actually up there. When they are finished with their set,
they are usually tired, breaking down and out the door. Now, here is where
the “dog tag” comes in handy. (Some may refer to them badges)
They identify whom you are and what you are a part of. This gives you
the opportunity to mingle with the audience, showing them your appreciation
that they are there, and possibly gaining yourself a few new fans. These
also work great while touring. Whether you’re walking down the street, or in a convenience store, people are curious. Many will actually stop you and say, “Hey, What’s that?” This gives you the opportunity to tell them a little about yourself, and where you will be performing next. We have seen this work time and time again. |
